Exploring Factors of Absenteeism Among Students Attending Community Medicine Department

Context: Frequent absence from classes may lead to improper learning and poor academic performance. Absenteeism can make teaching - environment unwelcoming impacting those also who attend regularly. Aims & Objectives: To explore factors responsible for absenteeism among second professional students attending Community Medicine Department formulate recommendations deal with absenteeism. Material Methods : A Cross sectional study was conducted 132 medical undergraduate in a hospital. self-designed pre validated questionnaire comprising of various sections related –learning used student Faculty perception regarding formulated it were recorded separately.
